Privacy policy

This policy explains how the Kintsugi Android app (com.velcozlabs.kintsugi) handles information. Kintsugi is developed by Velcoz Labs ("we", "us"). If you have any questions, contact us at support@velcoz.com.
Summary
- There is no account or sign-up. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number.
- What you create in the app stays on your device. We do not upload it to our servers.
- The app uses the third-party services listed below, which may collect limited device information.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Information stored on your device
The app stores the following on your device only. We cannot see it.
- Your progress, rebuilt vessels and personal best times
- Your gallery of finished pieces
- Settings such as theme, sound and vibration
- Whether you have bought the full collection
Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage (Settings › Apps › Kintsugi › Storage › Clear storage) permanently deletes this information.
If you have Android backup turned on, Android may include this information in your device backup to your Google account. That backup is managed by Google under your account settings, and we cannot access it.
Information we collect
We do not collect any personal information ourselves.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you.
Third-party services
Kintsugi includes the following third-party services. They may collect and process information under their own privacy policies.

Purchases
Payments are handled by Google Play. We never receive your card or payment details. Google Play tells us only whether a purchase is valid.
Data security
Data stored by the app is protected by Android's app sandbox, so other apps cannot read it. Data sent by the third-party services listed above is encrypted in transit.
Data retention and deletion
Information on your device stays there until you delete it in the app, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Data held by third-party services is kept under their own policies. You can ask us to delete any emails you have sent us by contacting support@velcoz.com.
Children
Kintsugi is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to how it is processed. Because we do not hold personal information about you, most requests can be met by deleting the app's data on your device. For anything else, email support@velcoz.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app changes. The new version is posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Significant changes are also announced in the app's release notes.
